Terms of Service
These terms explain how our laundry subscription works, what we're responsible for, and what we ask of you.
Last updated September 19, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fresh! Laundry website, customer app, and our laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, scheduling a pickup, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information, including your name, service address, and contact details, and to keep that information current.
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Service area
We provide pickup and delivery only within the ZIP codes we actively serve. Coverage can change as we grow or adjust routes. If your address falls outside our service area, we may be unable to schedule or complete a pickup.
4. Subscriptions, bags, and billing
Our plans are subscriptions. Each standard plan includes a set number of laundry bags per week. Weekly plans are billed on a recurring weekly cycle anchored to your signup date. Monthly commitments are billed on a recurring monthly cycle, and annual commitments are billed once a year upfront on a recurring annual cycle, both at the discounted rate shown at checkout. Monthly and annual commitments renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled or paused beforehand.
Weekly subscribers are charged every 7 days from their signup day, whether or not a pickup is scheduled for that period, unless the subscription is paused or canceled beforehand. A valid payment method is required before your first pickup.
Unused bags do not roll over to the following week. If you need extra capacity, contact us and we can grant additional bags or move you to a different plan.
Prices, plan features, and discounts may change. We will give notice of price changes at least 14 days before they apply, by email or in-app notification to your next billing cycle.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable period, we may pause your subscription and pickups until a valid payment method is provided.
5. Additional charges
Detergent, stain treatment, pickup, and delivery are included in your plan price. Some situations create charges beyond your plan price, including bags that exceed the standard weight, additional bags beyond your plan limit, and repeated failed pickups (for example, a bag that wasn't left out for a scheduled pickup). Additional charges appear as line items on the invoice for the billing cycle in which they occurred.
6. Pause, cancellation, and refunds
You may cancel a scheduled order yourself any time before it has been picked up. Once laundry has been picked up, the order is in progress and cannot be canceled.
Weekly subscriptions may be canceled effective immediately. Monthly and annual commitments automatically renew at the end of each billing period; if you cancel or pause before renewal, your plan remains active through the end of the current paid period and will not renew afterward. Weekly subscribers may also request a one-week pause.
The reservation deposit charged to hold your service slot is fully refundable if you cancel before your first scheduled pickup.
Except where required by law, payments already processed for a completed billing period are non-refundable. If something goes wrong with an order, contact us and we will work with you on a credit or re-clean.
7. Preparing your laundry
Please empty pockets and remove non-launderable items, valuables, cash, jewelry, electronics, and hazardous or biohazardous materials before a pickup. Bags should be placed in the agreed pickup location and be accessible during your selected window.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your care instructions, including wash temperature, soap, air-dry, and stain-treatment selections. Preference changes apply to future orders only and do not change an order already scheduled or in progress.
8. Care, loss, and damage
We handle every load with care and follow the preferences saved on your account. Even so, laundering carries inherent risk: colors can bleed, fabrics can shrink, existing wear can worsen, and some stains cannot be removed.
We are not responsible for damage caused by manufacturer defects, missing or incorrect care labels, pre-existing damage, items left in pockets, or items we advised against washing. For verified loss or damage that we caused, our liability is limited to the lesser of the item's documented depreciated value or ten times the plan price for the billing cycle in which the order was placed.
Report any concern within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate while the order record is fresh.
9. Unclaimed items
If we cannot complete a delivery because access is blocked or an address is incorrect, we will attempt to contact you and redeliver. For items valued at $50 or more, we will send a written due-diligence notice to your account email at least 30 days before treating the item as unclaimed, as required under Utah's unclaimed property law. Items that remain unclaimed after that notice period may be donated, disposed of, or reported to the Utah Unclaimed Property Division, as applicable.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to send items that are illegal, hazardous, contaminated, or infested. Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our app or systems, and do not resell the Service without our written consent.
11. Intellectual property
The Fresh! name, logo, website, app, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them only as needed to use the Service.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation by contacting us at support@tryfreshlaundry.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. YOU AND FRESH! LAUNDRY EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer arbitration rules, and will take place in Utah or another mutually agreed location, or may be conducted remotely.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Fresh! Laundry, its owners, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or items you submit to the Service that are illegal, hazardous, contaminated, or otherwise prohibited under the Acceptable Use section.
14. Our Right to Suspend or Terminate Your Account
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior toward our staff, repeatedly fail to make bags available for pickup, or if your payment method repeatedly fails. Where practical, we will provide notice before suspension or termination. You remain responsible for any charges incurred before termination.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, natural disasters, labor disputes, or other events of similar nature. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and reschedule pickups or deliveries as soon as practical.
16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the Service.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
